Hi, I’m Karl. If you want to learn how to play guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano, cello, string bass, or even learn about music recording, let me teach you. If you want to be in a band with other “students”, talk to me about joining an existing band, or forming your own! If you just like playing around and don’t really want to get better, stay home. All I ask is that you (practice) be willing to (practice) have some fun (and practice) and enjoy the learning experience (and practice). Did I mention that practicing is important? Well, it is, otherwise you are wasting your money on instruction.
The purpose of instruction is to teach you how to do something. Practice will make that knowledge long-lasting. If you only touch your instrument when you are with your instructor, then you’ll always have the same lessons because you will never master anything. That’s boring, for everyone involved.

Our goal: To effectively teach music, innovate recording, develop artists, organize gigs, manage/promote artists, and film unprecedented, music videos.
There are so many ways, to be involved with music: Play a musical instrument. Record audio. Film a video. Manage an artist, or build props for a video shoot. Build guitars, or fix guitars. Run sound, or lights. Interview famous musicians. Book bands. Set up for concerts. And so on.
Chances are, if you’re into music, or the music business, we can help you find your niche. Take me, for example. As a child, I was stuck on the trombone. It wasn’t until I got a snare drum, and a guitar, that I found a voice. Suddenly, I was excited to practice. Every instrument is not for everybody. Nothing against the trombone, but it’s not my voice. To play a musical instrument, and to play it well, it’s mega-important to find the perfect fit. Piano? Guitar? Drums? Bass? Cello? Clarinet? Didgeridoo? That’s music lesson, #1. Find the right voice. This is what we do.
Recording is a lot of fun. It’s also a ton of work. We can record the entire project, here, or assist you with your home recording. Main thing, is the end result needs to be worth the effort. How many times have musicians recorded, only to have the engineer foul things up, by inserting their own preferences into the mix? Lesson learned: There’s no particular rule for every session. Why, I don’t know, but I once put the bass drum mic, 3 feet away, and ended up getting a killer bass drum tone. This is not an accepted practice. Point is, experimenting and thinking outside the textbook, is a great gateway to originality. Isn’t that why you write originals? If you play an instrument, nirvana is finding your voice. For recording, it’s the same principle. Find your voice. This is what we do.
